Flexcrete's BIODEX range comprises high build surface coatings in a variety of finishes to meet the needs of every hygiene sensitive environment. They are applied to walls and ceilings to prevent the growth of mould and bacteria in food preparation or production areas, brewing and beverage industries, hospitals, the pharmaceutical industry and in kitchens or bathrooms. BIODEX membranes are manufactured in a wide range of attractive colours for high quality, durable decoration even in conditions of high humidity or extremes of temperature.

The BIODEX range of resin-rich biostatic membranes benefits from the latest encapsulated biocide technology to give completely safe use and zero leaching into the surrounding environment. This latest generation of in-film protection allows for the ultra slow controlled release of active ingredients into the coating film throughout the long life. Utilising the most modern chemistry, BIODEX membranes effectively prevent the growth of mould and bacteria whilst forming a totally non-toxic film which does not taint items stored in close proximity. The advanced styrene acrylic micropolymer resin binder cross links to give excellent adhesion which will be unaffected in conditions of elevated humidity. BIODEX membranes are vapour permeable, and the elastomeric nature facilitates movement in the substrate, thus bridging hairline cracks to give outstanding durability. BIODEX membranes can be reinforced either locally or overall to accommodate higher levels of substrate movement..
